NESDA Honors SatisFusion's Fay Wood with
the Everett Pershing Memorial Membership Award for the second consecutive
year
Wood's efforts continue to drive new membership into the Association
Long Beach, Calif. - August 15, 2002 - The National Electronics
Service Dealers Association (NESDA) announced SatisFusion CEO Fay Wood
is the recipient of the 2002 Everett Pershing Memorial Membership Award
during the National Professional Service Convention (NPSC) held in Orlando.
In 2001, Wood was named to the NESDA advisory board, and became the chairperson
of the Marketing Committee, and also received the Everett Pershing award,
as well as the NESDA "Person of the Year" award.
"Fay's commitment to NESDA and to driving new membership is tireless"
stated Mack Blakely, Executive Director of NESDA. "Her membership
programs have resulted in hundreds of new members to NESDA, and we are
very pleased to recognize her efforts again with this award" added
Blakely
"The 'Industry Angels' program Fay designed has had a tremendously
positive impact on membership this year. Since its creation in December
of 2001, the sponsorship program allows companies that provide support
for the industry to provide memberships to Servicers in different NESDA
regions in the U.S.A." said John Eubanks, NESDA President. "The
'Industry Angels" program has inspired many of the leading companies
in our industry to sponsor new members all over the country" concluded
Eubanks.
"New membership is the lifeblood of any dynamic and exciting association.
This is why we created the Industry Angels Program and Award - to provide
the opportunities for NESDA-affiliated companies to drive new membership
by sponsoring new members" stated Wood. "I'm proud of my association
with NESDA. I believe in the work they do, the things they stand for and
will continue to and help promote the association wherever I can"
Wood added.
In addition to her duties at SatisFusion, Wood also serves as the chairperson
for the California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Electronic
and Appliance Repair's Advisory Council (BEAR), works on several committees
for CEA, is an Advisory Board member for NESDA and was recently named
to the Advisory Board of DealerScope Magazine.
